Furnished rental claim inventories in Miramar Beach in ZIP 32503
November 5, 2026 · PAJOE Public Adjusters
Start with the rental’s move-in inventory, listing photos and purchase records. For each item, identify who owned it, where it was kept and what condition it was in before the loss. Keep the owner’s furniture and appliances separate from anything supplied by the management company or a guest. Ask other owners of property how they want to handle documentation, and avoid sharing personal records more widely than needed.
Describe the item and its role in the rental
A sofa, replacement linens stored off-site and a guest’s laptop may all appear in the same incident notes. Create distinct entries and attach evidence of ownership and location. Keep photographs showing the model and damage. If cleaning or storage is proposed, have the provider label each item and document transfers so that it can be matched to the original inventory.
Keep contents and income in separate files
Ask your insurer which policy sections it considers for furnishings, business use and property of others. Keep booking changes or lost income records separate from repair and contents expenses. For example, a cancellation record shows a booking change, while the damaged bed’s invoice and photos identify the item and its condition.
